Finding a balance between chic and office-appropriate can be difficult, especially when there are so many options of makeup out there! It's also easy to feel like you don't need to wear anything at all. But don't feel like you have to sacrifice all the sass and sexiness to look good in the office! It's all about finding a good balance. My friend Katie had a graduate presentation to do before this look and came over dressed in the outfit she presented in. It worked perfectly for an office themed look. In addition to the subtle but defining makeup, we put her hair in a loose but pretty braid and kept the accessories to a minimum. The sleek blazer is the perfect touch to add a sophisticated flare! 

No one wants to look like they rolled out of bed when they're at the office and conquering the business world. Just keep your makeup basic - defining the eyes with a little bit of neutral shadow, liner and mascara, filling in the brows, and creating a clean base. Use darker lipstick when appropriate, but remember, dark lipstick requires maintenance!
